Four weeks old

The puppies can now hear! We have started playing a soundtrack for them with loud noises like fireworks, babies crying, fire trucks, etc. They began hearing last week, but this week we can tell they are responding to some noises. They are also starting to use their own voices and are trying to bark. Their hearing will continue to develop for a few more weeks.

This week we also introduced a new food to them! They no longer are eating just their mamas milk. Their canine teeth are growing in and so it is the perfect time to introduce puppy kibble.

Andy, Buzz, Rex (only one without a collar), and Molly LOVED the food! They ate the most and Buzz got pretty messy on his face but he kept his paws clean! Bo Peep and Jessie liked the food a lot but also liked to get their paws in the food making a little mess. Woody… was not so interested! But the next days as he was exposed more he began to enjoy the food too! These little pups are growing so much and cant wait to come home to their new families.

The last photos are of Jessie eating her dewormer medication. I will provide you with your own bottle of medicine and syringe.
